Bikeability is provided at three levels. At level one children learn to control and master their bike. The training takes place in an environment away from cars or traffic, this is usually in a playground or closed car park and is aimed at children in year four (8-9 yrs).

Could you adopt?

National Adoption week kicks off on Monday (3 November), and Dorset County Council is looking for more people who can give a child the loving family they deserve.

Over the last two years, 37 children have been adopted in Dorset and there are currently 14 children waiting to be placed with a family.

Adopters are needed for children from birth onwards, but the county council is particularly looking for those who can care for older children and siblings.
