1 – 2 November – Half-term Dinosaur Hunt – Dorchester Dinosaur Museum - The event involves the whole museum and lets children explore and search out the answers to the clues of the dinosaur mystery – 10am – 4pm – Normal admission apply

7 November - Colin Tracy Photography Open Studio - 17 St Martinsfield, DT2 9JU - There will be framed and unframed prints to view of Photographic Art, Dorset landscapes, Natural History and more – Free Entry – 10am – 6pm

13 November - Jazz guitarist Mike Miller - The Brewhouse and Kitchen, DT1 1QY - This Sunday we feature the fantastic jazz guitarist Mike Miller, accompanied by Brett Nevill on double bass – 3pm – Free admission

13 / 14 / 15 November – My Mother Said I Never Should – Dorchester Arts Centre - Somerleigh Players and their director Mel Hooley return with an inspiring production which explores the difficult relationships between mothers and daughters, following the lives of four generations of women, interweaving stories of their desire to love and be loved, their expectations and choices – Performance: 8pm - £9/£7 members & concessions - Box Office: 01305 266926

29 November – Winter Mountain – Dorchester Arts Centre - Ever reminisce on the days before digital recording when the emphasis fell on the importance of live performance, the power of harmony and the essence of song? Hailing from the shores of Cornwall and Donegal, this unique duo bring you just that by blending melodic folk songs, heartfelt lyrics and two pure voices into one stunning performance – 8pm – Tickets: £7.00 – Box Office: 01305 266926
